Google Alerts:
I know that the internet is full of information, some about me, and I want to be sure I know what’s there. Instead of Googling my name everyday, now can I remain on top of the info about me on the web by using Google Alerts?
The easiest way to keep track of the latest items about you is to set a Google alert for your name.
Go to www.google.com, click more, and select even more from the drop-down menu.
Click Alerts and on the next page, enter the search key-word you want to keep track of (in this case your name).
You can also select the type of search result you’re interested in, choose how often you receive alerts, and designate an email account to receive the alert from google.
